I just got back some prints from my trip over spring break to Virginia and New York. I still have 4 more rolls left to develop, but I'm going to wait until my next paycheck to develop those, so here part one:

You're My Excuse To Travel

Exhausted couldn't be enough of a word to describe today. I am so tired from traveling but also just happy to have just gone to Virginia and NYC for the first time. I shot about 6 rolls of film as well as 3 disposable cameras during my trip. I took some digital, but I left my charger in Tallahassee, So the day I left Virginia I was only using film. I have some photos to share from Virginia, but im going to develop some of my NY film tomorrow (maybe half, and then the rest on my next pay check). I want to go back so bad already. The city was perfect and there was always something to do.

Sutphin Blvd

OKAY! BLOGGING! FINALLY!
I have been traveling so much and have had little time to post. I left thursday last week to start my spring break. I first went to Charlottesville, Virginia to meet friends and I had a wonderful time! the last day i was there I woke up to snow and it was the most wonderful thing I have ever seen. I felt like a little kid on christmas morning. I went to a lot of cool places and met some really amazing people and took a ton of photos. needless to say, I forgot the charger for my d40 and right as I was pulling out of the station my battery died and i am now using film the rest of this trip. So I am absolutely in love with NYC. I'm staying with people I met through couch surfing and they are really awesome and they are having a party on friday since I'm leaving the next day. I have been to the city two days in a row now, seeing all these amazing places, such as Washington Square Park, the MET, RIDING THE SUBWAY!!!!!!!!!, eating at cool local restaurants, going to St. Marks, ect. tons and tons of things! I will be making a giant photo post when I get all my film developed once I get back to dumb old Florida.

(Also about the title! One of the subway stops I take to get off in Queens where I'm staying is Sutphin Blvd)

Long Vacation

I haven't been posting as much as I'd like, but that will be changing soon. I have been so busy with school that i have nearly no time to take photos. In 4 days I will be going on a week long trip, travelling to Charlottesville, VA and then heading to NYC after for my spring break. This break could't come at a better time since I leave the day after my 20th birthday. It seems so strange that it's a leap year again and i'm turning 5/20. I sometimes feel possessive of February 29th when it actually exists since it never really feels like my birthday on off years. I will be actively posting a lot over the next month, since all my midterms and oral exams for german are this week and i wont have any other tests until the end of March. I am really excited for this trip and can't wait to take a million photos.
